Krannert Center Activities Board (KCAB)

Mission Statement

The Krannert Center Activities Board, better known as KCAB, is a group of students who coordinate and implement a variety of social, cultural and recreational activities and programs which allow Berry students to interact and have fun. KCAB’s goal is to support campus vibrancy and enhance the overall standard and quality of campus life.

KCAB is both a student organization and a paid student work team serving under the Office of Student Involvement. Together, they host weekend events like dances, skate nights, concerts, and coffeehouses, just to name a few! In addition, KCAB supports many of Berry’s annual traditions throughout the year – Welcome Back Weekend, Mountain Day Olympics, Finals Fest, Formal and Casino Night.

While KCAB supports the Berry community through their efforts, students on KCAB gain experience in problem solving, teamwork, managing projects and leadership development. Berry students may apply for the board each spring for a paid position; however, KCAB’s volunteer team, called KCAB Krew, is open for all students to join at any point in their Berry career.
