Dual Enrollment

Dual Enrollment Application Process

Dual Enrollment students are those who would like to complete in-person coursework at Berry College while still enrolled in high school in order to earn college credit and meet requirements toward high school graduation. If this sounds like you, follow the steps below to complete your application!

Step 1: Check Your Dates!

Application Open Application Deadline Notification Date Commitment Deadline

Because of the condensed timeline of the spring application cycle, we typically consider new Dual Enrollment applicants for the fall semester only. (Students who complete courses during the fall semester may have the option to continue taking coursework the following spring.)

Who is eligible for admission?

With a limited number of Dual Enrollment spaces available each year, our admissions team seeks strong, well-rounded students who will add value to the academic spaces at Berry and rise to the challenge of these rigorous courses. All courses meet on campus and in person, generally 2-3 times per week. To ensure the best possible experience of our Dual Enrollment students, Berry typically only admits rising seniors who live within a reasonable, commutable distance from Berry (within a 40-mile radius).

Step 2: Apply

Additional Steps

  • In addition to your application, we also ask that you submit the following to complete your application file:

    • High School Transcript(s)

My application is submitted! What’s next?

Once your application file is complete, our team will review your materials and send an email notification to check your MyBerry portal for an admission decision. If you decide that Berry is the right place for your Dual Enrollment experience, you will make this commitment in MyBerry so that our Registrar’s Office can coordinate a time to meet with you individually to craft a schedule with one to two courses each semester. It is important to note that onboarding and course placement for our Dual Enrollment students occurs typically mid- to late-May after we finalize the incoming class of First-Year students.
