ROME, Ga -The exhibit “After Words” runs through Oct. 17, at the Berry College Moon Gallery.
Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and admission is free and open to the public.
Artist Kimberly Lyle's work explores the ways that technology impacts our interactions with each other. The installation synthesizes a person’s breath into sounds from different languages using both tangible and digital processes.
Lyle is an assistant professor of sculpture and technology at the University of Georgia and holds a master of fine arts degree in intermedia from Arizona State University and bachelor of arts degrees in psychology and studio art from Stetson University in Florida. She has exhibited her work throughout the United States and abroad in Korea, Panama, Switzerland, Mexico, Ecuador and England.
