ROME, Ga. - The Berry College Theatre Company will open the fall season with “The 39 Steps,” with performances from Oct. 3 to 6 at the Sisters Theatre. The performances will be at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday. The show is appropriate for ages five and up.
Written by Patrick Barlow and based on the Alfred Hitchcock film of the same name, the show is a comedy which tells the story of a man as he discovers the truth behind a mysterious spy organization.
“We are thrilled to open our season with ‘The 39 Steps,’” Director Peter Friedrich said. “It has adventure, laughs and thrills all rolled up into a one love letter to the theatre. Watching the students create and innovate in rehearsal has been a show in itself.”
Tickets are available online at berry.edu/onstage and at the door for $7. For more information, contact Berry College Theatre Company at bctc@berry.edu.
